Organizer’s description

Hadron Lake 3: Pitch Roll Yaw We will blur the stars in this new installment of the Hadron Lake series. Expect all new sound and visuals born in and for curved space, ready for blastoff by Reforesters' 32-speaker 3D system. Doors 7 pmIgnition 7:30 pm Costumes welcomed Inspired by the primordial soup, teeming ecosystems, and the beauty of mathematical patterns, Hadron Lake is an ode to the fabric of our universe, and to the future dreams of our technological culture. The hopeful spawn of two years of R&D, it blends sounds from all sources with live modular synths, within a world created in the Supercollider programming language. In this simulated environment, each sound is a little entity with its own set of rules, live interactions with its fellows, and a will of its own. Brought to life by a half-sphere of precise speakers and a set of enveloping bass, they want to encourage lifting off and drifting away with ears wide. An invitation to lie down, close our eyes and look into the firmament. Artist: https://hadronlake.bandcamp.com @Hadron Lake Armand has been evolving in the NY underground for a while now. After studying sciences and electronic composition, he started several bands in the free jazz scene where he blends acoustic musicians with electronic processing live. Following an encounter with Michael Harrison’s teachings, he created Hadron Lake to bring to life microtonal worlds where eastern and western traditions meet and look to the future.
