The focus will be on developing individual technique, consistency and ball control, as well as improving players’ understanding of positioning, decision-making and different situations that occur during a volleyball game. We’ll work on applying these skills in realistic scenarios so that players can feel more confident and effective on court. The session has been created primarily to help our players develop and, as a result, upscale the overall standard and quality of our social volleyball sessions even further. However, everyone is welcome to join — you don’t need to be one of our players. Please note that this is not a beginner session. We won’t be covering the basic rules or fundamentals of volleyball from scratch. The session is aimed at players who already have some volleyball experience and are comfortable with the basics, but would like to improve their technique, consistency, positioning and overall understanding of the game. In short, this is an upskilling and coaching session — a chance to work on the parts of your game that are harder to develop during normal social play and then put them into practice on court.
