Organizer’s description

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31 ### Time: 11-1pm ### Teacher: Sumit Som ### Cost: Free Join us for a walk through beautiful Green-Wood Cemetery as we explore death through a Buddhist lens. Rather than treating death as a taboo or something to fear, Buddhism invites us to look at it honestly—and use it as a reminder to live more fully. Along the walk, we will stop for meditations and guided discussions on these topics. Come for a walk, stay for the big questions—and leave with a different perspective on “being alive”. Everyone welcome! Meet at the main entrance, 500 25th Street, just past the big stone arch. Please note that Green-Wood cemetery does not allow Halloween costumes on the premises.
