Organizer’s description

Join us on Thursday, 11/5 from 6:00-8:00PM at Ro's HQ for an AI deep dive around building behind-the-scenes intelligence for customer impact. As companies scale, so does the volume and complexity of customer interactions. Behind every customer message is a stream of signals that can help teams understand what needs attention, how quickly they need to respond, and what should happen next. During the evening, engineers building AI into high-volume customer operations will go under the hood of the intelligence layers working behind-the-scenes and share what it takes to make them work at scale, all in pursuit of delivering the best possible customer experience. This event will be split into two parts: Part 1: Inside AI Ro'sponder (15 min) A peek behind the curtains of how we work at Ro. Dan Cadden (Sr. Software Eng, Ro) walks through AI Ro'sponder, the intelligence layer behind Ro's patient messaging. He'll cover what it powers, how it evolved, what didn't work along the way, and the technical lessons that came out of it. The talk ends with a short Q&A. Part 2: AI Panel - Ghosts in the System (30 min) Engineers from teams building AI into high-volume customer operations compare how they approached the same problems, from deciding what to build, to the technical tradeoffs behind it, to keeping it reliable at scale. Denise Yu opens and closes the evening. Stick around afterward for networking, light food, and drinks.
