Games that Inspire Fun and Authentic Connections; with Short Board Games

Please note EVERYONE is welcome, and we mean EVERYONE. Cooler weather is here. It’s a great time to be inside playing board games. Come explore what games you find fun for making connections. We’ll have a bunch of different short games to play. Then we’ll chat about game highlights and remember and share about fun times. We'll play a couple board games in groups and talk in groups and one on one. Notice what it's like to be heard and when you’re having fun connecting with people. Authentic Relating (AR) has 5 main practices. Authentic Relating means sharing our inner truths in relation to others, while also holding space for their truth in the process. Welcoming our authentic selves will include practices to give space to discover more about what we are experiencing in the moment, and activities that allow us to contemplate our experience and then choose what to share based on bringing more connection to ourselves and others. What to expect? This is a workshop-style event with a supportive structure used to create a group context around the 5 practices of authentic relating: * Welcoming everything * Checking our assumptions * Revealing our experiences * Owning our experiences * Honoring ourselves and others Our intention is to provide an opportunity to celebrate ourselves on a deeper level and experience more connection with others from that place.
