🌲 FREE SUNDAY PRE-LUNCH HIKE – Swinley Forest, Rapley Lake & Woodland Trails 🥾

Join us for a refreshing approx. 15 kms circular hike from Bagshot, exploring the varied woodland trails of Swinley Forest. This is a very different kind of Sunday hike from our hillier countryside routes. Instead of long exposed climbs, we’ll spend much of the morning surrounded by forest, pine-covered tracks, quiet woodland paths and hidden features from the area’s past. The route takes us deeper into Swinley Forest, passing a Second World War pillbox, sections of the forest’s well-known trail network, The Look Out area, and eventually Rapley Lake before looping back towards Bagshot. At around 15 kms, with roughly 120 metres of ascent, it should be a good pre-lunch walk: enough distance to feel worthwhile, but without taking over the whole Sunday.
