Organizer’s description
Flamenco Singing Workshop through Music Learning Theory Have you ever wanted to experience the feeling of Flamenco singing, but didn’t know where to start? Join María de Huelva for a warm, playful and accessible workshop where you will discover Flamenco through listening, singing, rhythm and musical connection. Inspired by Music Learning Theory (MLT), an approach that aligns naturally with the way Flamenco is traditionally learned — through listening, imitation, repetition and musical experience, this workshop invites you to learn music in a natural and engaging way. You will listen, absorb musical patterns and gradually find your own voice within them. You don’t need to read music or have previous experience with Flamenco singing. Just bring your curiosity and your voice! Together, we will explore the distinctive sounds, melodies and rhythms of Flamenco, developing your sense of pitch, rhythm, musical memory and confidence along the way. 🌿 What to expect: * Discover the foundations of Flamenco singing * Explore rhythm and compás through the voice and body * Learn Flamenco musical patterns through listening and repetition * Develop your pitch, rhythm and musical confidence * Experience different Flamenco vocal colours and expressions * Sing together in a relaxed and supportive environment * Connect with the music through an enjoyable, hands-on approach.
