Fall 2026 Edge4Vets Career Workshop: Connecting Local Veterans & Tough Tech Company Mentors

Event Overview The Edge4Vets program bridges the gap between military service and civilian careers. This joint in-person workshop, hosted by Edge4Vets & UMASS Boston's William Joiner Institute, brings together local Military Service Personnel and hiring decision-makers from top local tough tech companies for a day of mentorship, skill translation, and networking. We are proud to partner with the Northeast Microelectronics Coalition (NEMC) and its 350 technology member companies, alongside esteemed organizations like Boston Children's Hospital, the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, and REMTEC, who are all eager to hire veterans. Whether you are a veteran looking to launch your civilian career or a company leader looking to hire exceptional talent, this workshop is built for you. For Veterans & Military Service Personnel Open to all Massachusetts Veterans, National Guard, Active Duty, Transitioning Personnel, and Spouses. Edge4Vets offers a Three-Step Pathway to Career Success: The Workshop (Oct 28): Work in small groups with HR reps and hiring managers from our partner companies. They will help you identify your military strengths, values, and skills, and translate them into a personal PLAN4SUCCESS for the civilian workplace. Online Course Access: After the session, you will gain access to the Edge4Vets online course. Short videos and exercises will guide you in refining and finalizing your PLAN4SUCCESS to earn your Edge4Vets Certificate.
