Never played pickleball before? Perfect — this one is specifically for **absolute first-time beginners**. Our senior pickleball star **John** is taking us onto the court for a small, hands-on introduction to the game. He’ll teach us the basics: how to hold the paddle, serving, positioning, scoring, and enough of the rules to actually get a game going. This is intentionally a **very small group** so everyone gets plenty of time on the court. John will be teaching three beginners, including me, which means we have **only TWO additional spots available**. **🏓 Sunday \| 5:00–6:00 PM** **📍 The Picklr Austin Oak Hill** 7101 State Hwy 71, Suite D1, Austin, TX 78735 **Cost:** $20 per player (except John) Venmo or cash accepted. **Equipment:** If you don’t own a paddle, don’t let that stop you. Equipment may be available to borrow for free, or you can rent a paddle at the facility for around $5. **Important:** Please arrive **15 minutes early (4:45 PM)** so we can get checked in, sign the waiver, sort out equipment, and be ready to start playing right at 5:00. We only have the court for one hour, so we don’t want to waste any of it on paperwork. No experience needed. No skills expected.
