Organizer’s description
We are getting the Curd Nerd Cheese Making Collective together in Enfield for an afternoon dedicated to the art of stretching mozzarella. Whether you have tried your hand at cheesemaking before or are completely new to the process, this session is designed to walk you through the entire journey from curd to finished ball. We will cover the science of temperature, the importance of quality milk, and the specific hand movements needed to get that perfect, silky texture. Expect a relaxed, hands-on environment where we can learn from each other and share a few kitchen tips. We will have all the necessary supplies ready to go, and you will leave with your own batch of fresh cheese to take home. It is a great chance to meet some local folks who share an interest in traditional food crafts and pick up a skill that is surprisingly satisfying to master. If you are interested in joining us for this session, please go ahead and RSVP so I can make sure we have enough supplies and space for everyone. It should be a fun day, and I look forward to seeing you there.
