Come sing with us! We’ll create new music together by playing vocal games—short pieces with improvised harmonies and rhythms. Just follow the leader who creates the parts. It’s easy to follow along; it’s also fun to improvise, to create, solo or lead, and it’s all optional. No experience needed! Think you can’t sing? No worries! All are welcome: we’re just here to play and connect. Led by Peter McLoughlin and some of the folks who organize **[CircleSinging Boston](https://www.meetup.com/circlesinging-boston)**. Potluck snacks after! Please no peanuts! **If you drive**: Park in the driveway to the left of the entrance (but NOT in the parking lot to the left of the driveway). **Public** **transportation**: Take the T's Orange Line to Malden Center and walk \~five minutes (2/10 of a mile) ## About CircleSinging Boston On August 22, 2024 [the Christian Science Monitor, an acclaimed international newspaper, published an article about CircleSinging Boston. ](https://www.csmonitor.com/Arts-Culture/Music/2024/0822/boston-bobby-mcferrin-circlesinging-acceptance) CircleSinging is a spontaneous, improvisational community-singing experience. In a circlesong, a leader starts by improvising a line of music and gives it / teaches it to one part of the circle. The leader then develops a second part that goes with the first and gives that part to another section of the circle. CircleSingers learn and repeat the exact part given to them.
