Organizer’s description
*RAIN: TO BE MONITORED. Event subject to cancellation.* Join us on Sunday, November 1 for the 3rd annual Dia de los Muertos celebration in Frogtown hosted by Frogtown Arts and Forager Crafts. We will start in Cypress Park and take a short walk along the LA River path. DDLM is a celebration of life where families honor the souls of their deceased relatives. Ofrendas, or altars, are designed and decorated with photos, flowers (marigolds), and favorite foods of the departed. The Frogtown event runs from 2pm-9pm. This Meetup event takes place after the Forest Lawn DDLM Meetup, *hence the later Meetup time.* The Frogtown DDLM event will feature pan de muerto (bread of the dead), Mexican hot chocolate, live music, face painting, local food and craft vendors. Pets on leash are welcome. Please read everything below.
