Organizer’s description
When was the last time you left a gathering feeling truly delighted? Here's what I believe: AI can plan the menu, send the invites, and even draft the toast, but the moments that make a gathering unforgettable are still ours to create. That spark when someone feels truly welcomed and celebrated? No machine can replicate it. And right now, it's one of the most generous things we can offer each other. In this workshop, I'll bring a few stories from my own hosting adventures, like Sarahs of Camberville, my meetup for people named Sarah (yes, really 😄), and a dinner party my friends and I threw in Nashville where we went all out and our guests were delightfully surprised. From there, we'll put those ideas into practice and design some delight of our own. Who this is for This is for anyone who wants to design more intentional experiences for the people they gather, whether that's a little dinner at your place or a meetup full of strangers. Maybe you're curious about bringing more delight into your gatherings. Maybe you want to explore what that could look like. Or maybe you just need a little encouragement to lean into your creativity. Any of those makes this the place for you. What to expect Small-group conversations with fellow hosts and gatherers Creative prompts we'll dream up together A chance to step into your own joy This is an interactive, co-created session, so come ready to play.
