Organizer’s description

🎌 Flirting in Japanese: Polite, Charming and Respectful: A Live Beginner Class No Japanese needed: this is a live beginner class on Zoom, explained in English. Start a friendly conversation, give a compliment, ask someone out and say or hear no gracefully, in polite Japanese. In the hour, you'll learn to: - Say no politely, recognise an indirect no, and take no gracefully - Swap LINE contacts and send a friendly follow-up - Understand 好きです, 付き合ってください and why 愛してる is rare - Give natural compliments and answer one modestly - Invite someone out with the soft 〜ませんか? form Every phrase comes with romaji, so you don't need to read Japanese yet. Each phrase comes with how to say it and when to use it. Near the end you try it out loud in a breakout room of 2 or 3, and you keep a phrase sheet with a week of practice ideas. Small group, friendly and practical. Camera optional, nothing recorded. RSVP here, then register through the link below to book your place.
