# Malabrigo Days: Color & Company Join us at Fiber Friends Studios on **Saturday, October 24, from 12–5 p.m.** for an afternoon of yarn, color, and making things together. We’ll have a raffle, a prize wheel, and **10% off all Malabrigo yarns, online and in-store**, during the event. Malabrigo Day began in 2025 to celebrate twenty years since a small dyeing experiment in a Montevideo kitchen grew into a yarn brand loved for its softness and rich, hand-dyed colors. It’s also a celebration of local yarn shops and the communities that gather in them. That’s our favorite part. ## What we’re doing * **Yarn sampling:** Try a few stitches with needles or a hook and get acquainted with a yarn you haven’t worked with before. * **Color play:** Put together a two- or three-color palette, give it a name, and vote for your favorite combination. * **Stitching and show-and-tell:** Bring a Malabrigo project, finished or otherwise, or whatever is currently in your project bag. We’d love to see it. * **Raffle and prize wheel:** Try your luck and see what comes your way. * **A little project planning:** Browse colors, talk through ideas, and save 10% on Malabrigo yarns from noon to 5 p.m. Central, online and in-store. Come for a quick visit or settle in for a few rows. Knitters and crocheters of all skill levels are welcome, and you don’t need a Malabrigo project to join us. Bring your project if you’d like to stitch. Or come with nothing but curiosity; that works, too.
