Tired of her isolation and refusing to conform to the village's rigid social structures, she decides to take matters into her own hands. She commissions a lonely local basket weaver (**Peter Dinklage**) to craft her the perfect husband entirely out of willow. To everyone's shock, the wicker creation (**Alexander Skarsgård**) unexpectedly comes to life, possessing a gentle, righteous, and soulful spirit. As a genuine and deeply unconventional romance blooms between the fisherwoman and her giant wicker companion, his kindness and devotion provide her with the love she has always deserved. However, their surreal relationship quickly sparks intense outrage, deep-seated jealousy, and complete chaos among the narrow-minded townspeople.
