Chris Paul HBCU Classic - Session 3

Game 1: DII Consolation Game 2: DII Championship The Basketball Hall of Fame and Chris Paul Family Foundation present the HBCU Basketball Event, December 4 and 5, 2026, at CareFirst Arena in Washington, DC! This two day event features two exciting brackets showcasing outstanding talent from Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Division I teams include Howard, Tennessee State, Florida A&M, Hampton, Grambling State, and Norfolk State. Division II teams include Clark Atlanta, Winston-Salem State, Virginia State, and West Virginia State. More than basketball, this event celebrates HBCU culture, school pride, and the impact of these institutions on higher education and athletics. Join us for spirited competition, community engagement, and an unforgettable celebration of HBCU excellence on and off the court! Game 1: DII Consolation Game 2: DII Championship. Guests entering the CareFirst Arena are limited to a wallet or purse no larger than 5 inches x 7 inches. Absolutely NO BACKPACKS. Clear, medical or diaper bags (child must be present) cannot be larger than 14 inches x 14 inches x 6 inches. All bags, including clear, medical or diaper/parenting bags, are subject to security screening.
