Organizer’s description
Join us for an afternoon of exploring the architectural textures and sharp lines that define Chicago. The Concrete Canvas Urban Photography Workshop is an opportunity to slow down and look at our city through a different lens, focusing on the intersection of industrial structure and urban life. Whether you are interested in minimalist compositions, geometric patterns, or just want to spend a few hours walking and shooting with a supportive group, this session is for you. We will meet at a central downtown location to share a few quick techniques for capturing structural detail before heading out on foot to put them into practice. This is a low-pressure environment meant for photographers of all skill levels, so feel free to bring whatever camera you use, whether it is a professional DSLR or your phone. It is a great chance to swap tips, get feedback on your shots, and see how others interpret the same spaces. If you are interested in joining us, please RSVP so I can keep track of the group size.
