Organizer’s description

Do you want the benefits of yoga but struggle to get on and off the floor? Dealing with injury, pain or illness that limits movement and range of motion? You can still experience all the benefits of yoga in this supported chair class. Classes will include guided meditation, breathing techniques, balance, and poses suitable for every body type. The option to stand will be available during class. There will also be the offering of hands-on Reiki at the end of each session for those looking for a little extra relaxation and energy healing. Please register ahead of time at https://uucav.breezechms.com/form/yogawaiver and fill out a participation waiver prior to class. Please bring your own mats and blocks if you have them, a few will be available for use but our current supplies are limited. This is a free community class, donations are always welcome. About the instructor: Jacqueline Greenlaw recently completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Cindy Boulter at Revolution Community Yoga, together with “Muscle Physiology & Re-Education” training with Amy Matthews. Jacqueline first turned to yoga over 20 years ago to help with lower back pain and soon recognized the many benefits. When not practicing yoga, Jacqueline enjoys time shared with her husband traveling, hiking, cycling, kayaking, wildlife and generally just being outside in nature.
