Organizer’s description

Celia Grace is an indie musician from Hartlepool. Drawing inspiration from artists like Alvvays, Phoebe Bridgers, and Julia Jacklin, Celia's music feels like a glimpse into a personal journal, filled with vulnerable emotion against anthemic and dynamic backdrops. Celia's ability to convey deep, personal stories through her music quickly set her apart in the indie scene with the release of her debut EP, "Sports," which garnered critical acclaim and showcased her unique talent for blending wistful lyrics with dreamy melodies. One of the key milestones in Celia's career was being chosen for a BBC Introducing live session at the legendary Maida Vale studios, a testament to her growing influence in the music world. Alongside this, Celia made a mark on the live music scene with support slots for BROCKHOFF, Personal Trainer and Marketplace, in addition to high-energy full band festival performances at Stockton Calling and Twisterella. Recently, Celia’s life took an unexpected turn when she was diagnosed with cancer. This life-altering experience has profoundly changed her perspective and has become a significant influence on her current work. She is now channeling her journey through a new musical project, reflecting the transformation and resilience she has developed since her diagnosis. Her upcoming project explores change, acceptance and becoming with an exciting blend of folk and pop inspirations.
