Date: Nov 7th Time: 4pm-7pm Location: Mind Light Way School of Zen 86 Joy St, Studio 5R, Somerville MA, 02143 Audrey (movement therapist, and zen student) had been dreaming this up for ages - wanting to provide a space for mom's, non-binary parents, and all caregivers to receive some TLC, feel supported in community and reconnect to their creativity and sense of self. The work of primary caregivers of children is immense. We see you!! As some of you may know, we are a Zen school and we teach Zen at the Mind Light Way School of Zen in Somerville, MA. Many of us have felt that it has been a wonderful source of support, including in our role as a parents. In this workshop, we will be interweaving some Zen concepts that we have found helpful as parents with Audrey's love for expressive therapies. We will be doing some gentle movement, enjoying a restorative sound healing experience led by Nadia Mounsif (Teacher at the Mind Light Way School of Zen), some journaling and art and enjoying some creative play! We will end with time to relax, have some food, mingle and continue art making if you wish. While this workshop is not therapy, we certainly hope it will be therapeutic. The workshop is free and please feel free to refer a friend who needs it! Donations of any amount to the school are greatly appreciated. Please RSVP if you are able to attend and reach out to us with any questions! With Love, ~Audrey & Nadia
