Organizer’s description
Ask a Christian a Question Bring your questions. Nothing is off-limits. Have you ever had a question about Christianity that you wanted to ask—but weren’t sure where or how to ask it? Ask a Christian a Question is an open, discussion-based gathering where skeptics, seekers, Christians, former Christians, and anyone who is simply curious can ask honest questions about Christianity, God, the Bible, faith, life, and the world around us. Each gathering begins with a brief 5–10 minute discussion of one featured question. It might be something like: *Does God actually exist?* *Why does God allow suffering?* *Can we trust the Bible?* *Has science made God unnecessary?* *Why did Jesus have to die?* *Why does Christianity have rules about sex?* *Would a loving God really send someone to hell?* The goal of the opening discussion is not to give an exhaustive answer, but to introduce the question, explain how Christianity approaches it, and give us something to think about together. After that, the floor is open. Bring whatever questions you have. They can be theological, philosophical, ethical, cultural, historical, scientific, practical, or personal. You can ask about the Bible, Jesus, other religions, suffering, morality, sexuality, science, heaven and hell, prayer, the church, difficult Bible passages—or simply something about Christianity that has never made sense to you.
