Organizer’s description
Join us for an evening of drawing from a live model. Purchase Tickets here, $27 (use discount code DRAWWITHUS for your first visit) Bodies of Work is a figure drawing series focused on celebrating the dynamic human body. We're fascinated with how the body works, and we feel like you just might be too. We work with models who have a physical practice: boxers, climbers, dancers, lifters, athletes. Poses are directed to put the body's mechanics on display. This event is hosted by Dan Boterashvili of Harvest Strength Training, a personal trainer and visual artist, alongside Alexander Singer, community engagement professional and bartender. Purchase Tickets here, $27 (use discount code DRAWWITHUS for your first visit) Bring your favorite materials and drawing/painting supplies. We will also be providing basic materials and a limited amount of drawing boards. Every experience level welcome, first-timers welcomed. Doors open at 6:40pm. Poses run 7:00–9:30pm, from short gestures to long holds. Stick around after to share work and meet other artists. Note: Doors will be kept open until 7:15. If for some reason you are delayed please reach out to @bodiesofworkdrawing on Instagram and we will come downstairs to let you in. We have a STRICT NO PHOTO policy while the model is posing.
