Acclaimed musicians Eryn Rae, Paul Jennings, Éadaoin Ní Mhaicín and Gillie Ó Flaherty, the quartet combines soaring fiddle melodies, driving percussion and inventive arrangements that push far beyond folk’s expected boundaries. Audiences can expect a thrilling mix of tradition and innovation, where rich acoustic textures meet modern rhythmic ideas and genre-spanning creativity. Formed through collaborations within the Celtic music scene, Astro Bloc have quickly earned a reputation for dynamic, high-energy performances that feel fresh, vibrant and forward-looking. This is a chance to experience one of the most exciting new voices in contemporary folk. Why do we have a restoration Levy? Put very simply, our restoration levy is an additional charge added to your ticket price which is directly invested back into the venue. This money is used for critical maintenance, repairs, and preservation efforts to ensure the long-term sustainability of the building. As the 3rd oldest church building in Glasgow, dating back to 1836, Saint Luke's requires ongoing care and special restoration to maintain its historic character and facilities.
