Yellow River- Sunday Morning Hike

**Trail Description:** Join us for a fun and moderate hike at Yellow River Park, located near Stone Mountain, GA. Our 5-mile hike will take us along the river and through the woods. We always love this hike. **Difficulty Level** Beginner (mixed surface trail, includes slight elevation gain). **Distance:** 5-Miles **Estimated Duration:** 2+ hours **Pace:** Moderate, 2-2.5 mph. Dogs must be leashed and under owner control at all times. **Event Guidelines** * We will begin promptly at the listed time. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early so we can start together. * This group is for people ages 18 and over who are Meetup members, and each person may bring up to one adult guest. * Bring water, snacks, and any gear you may need (e.g., trekking poles, flashlight, rain gear). * We welcome beginners. But if you are new to hiking or unsure if you can maintain the listed pace and duration, please do some prep walks in advance.
