They struggle because, somewhere along the way, they unconsciously stepped into a role. A role that keeps them stuck. A role that explains why they can't change. Why help won't work. Why they're different. Why they're too damaged. Why they always collapse. Why life never seems to move forward. This talk is about the hidden identities that quietly shape our lives, especially the ones built around pain, failure, shame, helplessness, and being "too far gone." We'll look at how people become attached to certain inner stories, how those stories can feel like truth, and how they can secretly block healing, discipline, love, success, and spiritual growth. This is not about blaming yourself. It is about seeing the pattern clearly enough that you can finally stop living inside it. After the talk, we'll do a guided letting go session focused on releasing the emotions underneath these identities: shame, fear, self-pity, resentment, despair, pride, and the strange comfort of staying stuck. Come if you feel like something in you keeps repeating the same patterns, even when you know better.
