Organizer’s description
Build a working AI application, then govern how it operates, from identity and access to data protection, model choice and spending. Change the rules live and see how the application responds. Led by Dave McJannet, CEO of Dome Systems and ex-CEO of HashiCorp Tu Nguyen, Product Engineer at Dome Systems Agenda (90 minutes) 0:00 to 0:10, Install prerequisites. Install the workshop dependencies and the Dome CLI, sign in, and verify everyone can proceed. 0:10 to 0:20, Launch the demo. Apply the template, start the HR application, and make a successful request. 0:20 to 0:35, Understand what we provisioned. Walk through agents, gateways, tools, models, pools, rules and guards using the running environment. Introduce standing versus delegated identity and trace a request through audit. 0:35 to 0:50, Change rules and guards. Block a previously successful action, redact contact information, and inspect the results. 0:50 to 1:00, Enforce quotas. Explain quota scope, trigger a spending limit, observe the rejection, and restore the budget. 1:00 to 1:20, Act on behalf of people. Exercise delegated identity: same application, different users, different permissions. Change a permission and inspect attribution in audit. 1:20 to 1:30, Q&A. Explore your own scenarios and try additional changes. Who should attend: engineers and technical founders building AI applications, plus platform and security engineers responsible for controlling their access to company systems and data.
