A Look Inside Technical & Platform Applications Engineering Join us for a conversation with Andy Garrisi, Platform Application Engineering Lead for Server and Workstation Platforms at Intel. This is part of our "A Look Inside..." series, where the Office of Career Services gives you the opportunity to meet professionals across a wide variety of fields. Andy has spent more than two decades at Intel, starting as a Technical Applications Engineer and working his way up into his current leadership role. His work sits at the intersection of Intel's hardware and the customers and partners building on it, and he brings deep expertise in computer architecture, embedded software, and hardware design. He earned his B.S. in Computer Engineering from San Diego State University. Andy will walk us through what engineering work at a company like Intel actually involves, how a technical career grows into a leadership one, and what it looks like to work in a role that sits between the purely technical and business sides of an organization. Come ready with questions.
