Organizer’s description
Hey ladies! 🖤 Let's make time for a little culture, connection, and community! Join us for *TRY A LITTLE TENDERNESS*, a collection of films exploring love beyond romance. Through stories of family, friendship, caregiving, cultural traditions, sacrifice, humor, grief, and remembrance, this program celebrates the everyday ways we care for one another and keep our communities connected. Sometimes love looks like checking in on a friend. Sometimes it's showing up for family, preserving the traditions we grew up with, sharing a laugh during a difficult season, or simply reminding someone that they aren't alone. This film program explores those meaningful moments and the ways tenderness, care, and connection help us navigate life across generations and cultures. The plan: 🎬 Enjoy a cinematic experience celebrating love and the Black diaspora. 🤎 Meet and connect with other Black millennial women. 💬 Share thoughts and reflections afterward, if you'd like. ✨ Make space for friendship, community, and a little time for yourself. Whether you're coming to enjoy the films, meet new people, or simply get out of the house for something different, you're welcome here!
