A mentored old-time music jam for fiddle, clawhammer banjo, rhythm guitar, mandolin and upright bass players, learning new tunes together at increasing tempos; participation costs $10 with pay-what-you-can flexibility.
Learn new old-time tunes in a mentored instrumental jam that starts slowly and builds pace, with a $10 contribution or pay-what-you-can option.
**The OT Learning Jam is on the second & fourth Monday of each month.** The cost to participate is $10, which supports our jam leader for mentoring. Pay when you get there - in cash or by Venmo. If payment is a struggle, pay what you can. Don't let it get in the way of joining us. **Who should attend:** Fiddle, clawhammer banjo, guitar (rhythm), or mandolin players! Upright bass players are welcome (no electric bass, please), though we have a regular bass player who can take turns with you. This is a learning environment. We start out slowly and then speed up to what might be a challenging pace for some. We learn new tunes each session. **Rhythm guitar players -- we need you!** See this doc for some tunes we play: [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HOcWcUbJxSZDjf5syWWX5vWItE_IeMsauxdozLskmCE/edit?usp=sharing](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1HOcWcUbJxSZDjf5syWWX5vWItE_IeMsauxdozLskmCE/edit?usp=sharing)
