October 17, 2026 · 11 AM
Randall's Island Park, Manhattan
Free food demonstrations at the Urban Farm Kitchen teach cooking with seasonal farm produce, with samples, take-home recipe cards, and questions for the Community Food Educator.
Watch free seasonal-produce cooking demonstrations, sample produce, take home recipe cards, and ask the Community Food Educator for kitchen advice.
The Urban Farm hosts free food demonstrations to teach the community-at-large how to cook with the seasonal produce they can see growing on the farm. We have 200+ varieties of produce, including many varieties that are culturally relevant to our local communities. In food demonstrations, visitors sample produce, take home recipe cards, and ask the Community Food Educator for kitchen tricks, tips, and advice.
