Miami's Improv Jam @ Mainstreet Playhouse!

Finally! Miami's new weekly home for new, exciting, local improv comedy where everyone can get up on stage and play! Short Round Improv presents Miami's new Improv Jam, every week at the fantastic Mainstreet Playhouse in Miami Lakes! Just $10! Improv is the most inclusive-form of acting, and a ton of fun! A great way to help improv social and communication skills in all areas of life, get comfortable expressing yourself, and meet new people in a fun setting. And it's a fantastic way to practice the art of acting and get to know the local improv and acting scene! Come wind down your weekend, or have a unique date experience, and watch or join us for an hour of play with some of the top comedic improv actors in the city from various troupes and companies in a mix of different games and styles each week, every Sunday evening! The jam follows Short Round's Sunday afternoon drop-in class, and drop-ins and is free to class attendees. Drop-Ins and Jams are lead by our acting veteran cast members with dozens of TV, film, commercial and theater credits to their names! Regular attendees also see about joining the main Short Round Cast for our big, Mainstreet Madness Improv & Variety shows on the last Sunday of the month! It's in a great location, too, as the Mainstreet Shopping center features restaurants, shops and a movie theater! Sunday is Funday at Mainstreet!
