Shut Up & Write! in Garland/Rowlett/Sachse

***\*\*\*I will be out-of-town at a conference on October 21st, so we won't be meeting that week.\*\*\**** Shut Up & Write! is a global community that empowers writers to overcome procrastination, silence their inner critic, and make consistent progress on their projects. Our events provide a structured and focused environment where writers can come together, set aside distractions, and achieve their writing goals. **What to Expect:** Our events use our proven formula: a few minutes of introductions, a period of focused writing, and a final check-in to share our progress. Come early to join the organizer for lunch and/or stay afterwards to socialize with other attendees. This event is a safe space for writers for any type to work on their craft. You can be working on any writing. It doesn't need to be a novel; you could be simply journaling or writing a to-do list. No one will read or critique your writing. **Schedule:** 1:00-2:00pm - Come early to join me for lunch or to simply chat 2:00-2:10pm - Introductions 2:10-4:00pm - Writing sprints with periodic stretch breaks **Accessibility Walkthrough:** \* Parking: 3 reserved spaces with 2 access aisles and 2 wheelchair cutouts provide easy access to sidewalk.
