North Berwick to Tantallon Castle via Coastal Path

Mary invites you to join her on a walk from North Berwick to Tantallon Castle via the coastal path. ################ PLEASE NOTE This new route avoids the huge flight of stairs from the beach up to the café just before Tantallon Castle. ################ The buses to North Berwick are the express x5 from Waterloo Place or the 124 bus also from Waterloo . As the usual bus stop is closed due to work on Waterloo Place you need to use the temporary stop at Howies on Waterloo Place … it is just a minute up pavement and has a yellow metal board indicating the stop. Tantallon Castle has an entry fee if you wish to enter the Castle. There is a No 120 bus running from North Berwick to Dunbar if you would prefer to walk and return on the bus however the service is infrequent and will need you to plan the timing.
