Come explore your embodied expression in this joyful hour of somatic and vocal exploration and experimentation. We will play with vocal improvisation, relaxation of the body, deep listening, traditional somatic practices and connection with the inner sounds waiting to be expressed! We begin with stretches, breathing exercises, and vocal warm ups to relax the body and open the flow of expression. We then move to a playful voice exploration, creating a safe and brave space to play with voice and movement as tools for healing and expression as a group, including unpitched sounds. We will explore and be silly with the curiosity of the inner child. The workshop concludes with a group voice and movement improvisation, bringing us directly into Drone Lab where you can play with and implement what you’ve learned. Bring a water bottle and wear clothes for movement and dance.
