An event about women innovators in health, framed as an entrepreneurship/impact discussion.

Health innovation is one of the richest, most human-centered spaces to build in. Every product, device, or system eventually touches someone's actual care and has a real impact. Join WE Lead and the Population Health Initiative for a conversation with women entrepreneurs building in health from completely different angles, followed by a hands-on chance to practice the skill of innovation yourself. Featured Panelists: Estelle Giraud, PhD, Founder & CEO, Trellis Health Rajashree Varma, Founder & CEO, AffableOne Melinda Yormick, Founder & CEO, CLARA Moderator: Neha Patadia, Enterprise Sales Director, Xealth & Co-Founder, SeaHealthTech Our speakers will share what drew them into health innovation, the meaningful problems they're working to solve, and the real challenges that come with the territory: regulatory and approval barriers, long development timelines, and the constraints that don't show up until you're already building. Every decision along the way carries both human and financial cost, and our panelists will speak candidly about what that's actually meant for them. After the panel and audience Q&A, the event continues with a hands-on workshop. In small groups, you'll tackle a real health challenge and sketch a rough solution, whether that's a device concept, a digital tool, a policy idea, or something else entirely. Our speakers will circulate through the room as teams work, then hear pitches and give direct feedback at the end.
