A revolutionary reading club focused on historical politics and systemic issues, hosted by a member and centered on a shared reading plan.
Welcome to QC’s Revolutionary Book Club! Hosted by our member Chelsea, this revolutionary reading club will explore texts focused on historical politics and how they relate to systemic issues we see today. First meeting has occurred and book selection- reading cadence- and meeting schedule has been set! You will be reading "An Indigenous Peoples' History of the the United States, by Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz. Reading up to Chapter 6 by the next meet, October 8th. With an emphasis on a welcoming atmosphere as topics are heavy and largely relevant to current times. Please come with a positive outlook on collaborative communication and decision making. We aim to make this a collaborative experience and welcome any and all input and suggestions. Located at Artisans Books & Coffee, you can settle in and grab a treat to enjoy an evening of literature and healthy discussion. Join in from afar and continue discussion on our dedicated discord channel! https://discord.gg/67dc6J7uN
