Thanks!!!** Here is a very cool hike, a wonderful scramble, a hike that is for the experienced hikers/scramblers only. There is a mile of rocky adventure which is not for beginners or those with improper footwear. So....experienced with me hikers only please. If I have not hiked/scrambled with you please send me a private note with your recent scrambling experience. If you don't you will be removed from the event. It is billed as 4 hours, 4.5 miles, STRENUOUS by NYNJTC. This is one of my favorites. There is significant continuous ascent and decent involved. Feel free to contact me if you are wondering if you are good to do this if you have hiked with me. NO DOGS. No guests. From their description: This loop hike descends the Palisades cliffs, follows a challenging, rocky path along the Hudson River, passes a scenic waterfall, and climbs to reach a panoramic viewpoint over the river. Scrambling is tricky stuff and sure footing is necessary for this. Please don't sign up if you've never hiked or scrambled before.
