I've been going to Mandarin House 3 decades. Not so much since covid. I hear they had a fire, rebuilt and turned it into 'modern with a vibe' whatever that means AND it still has the same great food passed down generation to generation. This is the only way we have found to assure a turnout, even if it is just a table of four. As you probably know, the $10 goes towards the annual $400 we get charged to have an actual meetup. This is actually our 'staycation' where we get to leave the stress of our day and the world, and simply talk about food, nutrition, our travels, and wine.
