An in-person monthly gathering introducing The Theosophical Society, followed by a reading and participatory discussion about spiritual interdependence, with tea and snacks.
Join a reading and participatory discussion of the Theosophical idea of an interdependent whole, with tea and snacks to share.
Join us for our in-person "Tea and Theosophy". A friendly casual meeting geared towards the curious, the new, or Theosophists wishing to connect with other Theosophists. Please join us on Wednesday, October 14, 6:00pm, (doors at 5:45) to 7:30pm at our NY Theosophical Lodge: 242 E 53rd St. NYC. There will be conversation, handouts, and tea and snacks to share. Each meeting we begin with an introduction to The Theosophical Society, then follow with a reading and participatory discussion of a rotating monthly Theosophical subject. The subject of this months discussion is: How Theosophy explains and approaches the concept of "One Interdependent whole". How do we as ordinary humans fit in to the great cosmic scheme of existence? How do we explain everyday events with a spiritual perspective? Our intuition may lend us feelings and insights, but how do we put it into practice? Join us in person for exploration and discussion Wednesday October 14th. Come early and visit the Quest Bookshop next door.
