OCTOBER Outreach+Vegan Snacks Uhuru Flea Market TBD Sanctuary

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION! PLEASE READ TO END!!** We are back this year at Uhuru Flea Market for one of our favorite outreach events to spread the animal liberation message! We will also be giving out free vegan food samples and literature. All funds raised will be donated to animal sanctuaries. Last year we raised $2,663.65 in donations. This year at our June market, we raised $1009.70 for the Bloomsbury Herd, a goat microsanctuary in Bloomsbury NJ, and in August, we raised $596.35 for Layla's Rescue Ranch. In September, we raised $500 for Skylands Animal Sanctuary in Wantage NJ. The sanctuary recipient is always chosen by volunteers, and our chosen recipient for October is TBD and will be announced here. **PLEASE RSVP HERE IF YOU CAN DEFINITELY COMMIT TO AT LEAST ONE HOUR.** We will set up starting at 8:00 am and sell from our space from 9 am to 4 pm, and packing up from 4 pm to 5 pm. Please include the hours you are committing to in the comments or send an email to philly4animals@gmail.com **PARKING:** You can usually find free street parking near the flea market (43rd and Chester) although you may have to walk a block or two. **HOW TO FIND US:** Our space is usually on 43rd Street, south of Chester (near Regent Street). The spaces are usually marked in chalk along the sidewalk, and ours is around #53 or "BESSEY". You can also look for a huge bowl of water on the sidewalk set out for dogs - that's us!
