What's left for developers when AI writes the code? That question is splitting engineering teams right now, so we're putting it on the table. October 28 at Touro GST, NYJavaSIG brings two speakers with very different vantage points: **Jeanne Boyarsky** on modern Java beyond 21 — Java Champion, 24 years in, co-author of Wiley's Oracle certification guides. **Peter Bell** on the agentic future — wrote O'Reilly's book on scaling AI adoption in engineering, advises CTOs on going from copilots to evals. Time: 5:00–8:00 PM, Oct 28th 2026 Location: Touro GST, 3 Times Square, Room 401 Pizza will be provided Open to NYJavaSIG members and GST students and alumni.#Java #AgenticAI #NYCTech #SoftwareDevelopment
