With Tomás Mier & Niko Rubio A Conversation, Performance & Book Signing The Grammy Museum is thrilled to celebrate the upcoming release of book Madonna: Into The Groove and welcome author and music journalist Tomás Mier to the Museum’s intimate 200-seat Clive Davis Theater for an evening discussing Madonna’s legacy and career. The conversation will also be joined by rising artist Niko Rubio, ahead of her debut album, with a special performance. Attendees will have an exclusive opportunity to purchase the book prior to its release and have their copy signed by the book’s writer, Tomás Mier. ABOUT MADONNA: INTO THE GROOVE In 1985, the world finally took notice of Madonna, and she met Ken Regan, one of the most versatile professional photographers of the 20th century. This trove of his beautiful, timeless images, most never before published, follows her through an array of unforgettable moments—studio poses, bedroom positions, fitness routines, onstage performances—highlighting her raw, magnetic sexuality. The accompanying text by Tomás Mier brilliantly traces the development of her signature style. He shares exclusive new interviews with producer Nile Rodgers, choreographer Brad Jefferies and others.
