Meatless Monday social event encouraging attendees to try plant-based food (not required to be vegan/vegetarian).
What if your Monday night out could be delicious and do a little good? 👀 #**MeatlessMonday** is a global movement encouraging people to skip meat one day a week — an easy way to explore plant-based food while making a small, collective difference for animals and the planet. 🌎🐾 And no, you do NOT have to be vegan or vegetarian to join us. 🌎 **A little food for thought**: Livestock was responsible for about **4.3 billion tonnes of CO₂-equivalent emissions in 2023**, making it the **largest single source** within global agrifood-system emissions, according to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization. Livestock production also requires enormous amounts of land and resources. Choosing more plant-based meals means reducing demand for animal agriculture — one meal at a time. This one is for everyone — especially the curious omnivores who want to try something new without giving up their favorite foods forever.
