Bulletboys

BulletBoys are an American hard rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1987. Founded by charismatic frontman Marq Torien, guitarist Mick Sweda, bassist Lonnie Vencent, and drummer Jimmy DAnda, the band quickly established themselves as one of the premier arena-rock acts of the late 1980s and early 1990s.{C}Blending a high-energy, blues-infused metal sound with a soulful vocal delivery, BulletBoys were frequently compared to rock royalty like Van Halen. They burst onto the mainstream scene with their self-titled debut album in 1988, which was produced by the legendary Ted Templeman. The album became an instant classic, certified gold, and spawned two massive MTV hits that defined the era: the explosive, groove-heavy Smooth Up in Ya and an iconic, hard-hitting cover of the OJays RFor the Love of Money.Following the massive success of their debut, the band released their sophomore album, Freakshow, in 1991.
