A Play, A Pie and A Pint Lune Written by Pamela Ghislain Translated by Katherine Mendelsohn Directed by Wils WIlson Doors: 12pm (12:30pm Monday) Show Starts: 1pm Unreserved Seating The award-winning Belgian play, translated into English for the very first time. Lune Bogaert heads to the Palace of Justice in Brussels to take the Belgian state to court for its inaction on discrimination against women. When she’s told her complaint will take months or even years to process, she decides to sit herself outside the court for as long as it takes. As Lune’s act of protest ripples through the media and the public, it also reverberates through the lives of two un-expecting members of the legal machinery in ways they never could have foreseen. From Belgian writer Pamela Ghislain and translated by Katherine Mendelsohn, Lune is a politically charged drama about one small but revolutionary act of protest sparking hope in times of despair.
